SUBCTMGR - Senior Sub Contracts Manager, Santa Clara, CA.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Senior Subcontract Manager will lead a staff of Subcontract Administrators located in Santa Clara, CA and Scottsdale, AZ.
  • Will participate in proposal efforts to include the review and negotiation of Teaming Agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.
  • Ensures Prime Contract requirements are flowed down to Subcontractor and Subcontract packages are reviewed and approved to support a CPSR.
  • Resolves terms and conditions issues consistent with Client's business policies and prime contract while maintaining positive subcontractor interface.
  • Develops innovative solutions and strategies to maximize probability of successful achievement of contractual obligations.
  • Maintains an environment with a team or work area that encourages autonomy, decision-making, innovative thinking and the success of employees.
  • Ensures consistency to Client's PPI's and GDC4S procurement manual practices.
  • Mentoring of employees to Client's policies and procedures. 
  • Coordinates internal and external audits such as Sarbanes-Oxley, CPSR, DCAA, and DCMA.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures, AIS Government-approved procurement system, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Directs the strategies for resolution of subcontract issues including risk assessment, mitigation strategies, negotiation positions, collaboration across the divisions and addresses contractual/legal implications.


Basic Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Minimum of six years of related management experience or demonstrated effectiveness to meet the managerial expectations.
